Grumbling definition
Grumbling. (“goggusmon”) means “complaint” or “displeasure.” NOTE that it is used in Acts 6:1 to speak of the “complaint” concerning the neglect of widows (A. and G., page 163). Consider the “grumbling” or “murmuring” of the nation of Israel in the wilderness (Numbers 11:1; 16:41; I Corinthians 10:10). See also I Peter 4:9.
