Growth Unit definition

Growth Unit means a measure of participation under the Plan having a value based on the Book Value of a share of common stock of the Company and other characteristics specified in the Plan.
Growth Unit means a bookkeeping entry representing an amount equal to up to the Fair Market Value of one Share, granted pursuant to Section 23. For avoidance of doubt, Growth Units may be convertible to Shares on a fractional basis. Each Growth Unit represents an unfunded and unsecured obligation of the Company.
Growth Unit or "Growth Units" means, following the substitution of one or more Treasury Securities for Preferred Securities or for the Applicable Ownership Interest of the Treasury Portfolio, as the case may be, as collateral to secure a holder's obligations under a Purchase Contract, the collective rights and obligations of a holder of a Growth Units Certificate in respect of such Treasury Securities, subject in each case to the Pledge thereof, and the related Purchase Contract.
