ground staking definition

ground staking means the delineation of the area of a mining claim on the ground using posts, tags, flags, blazes or any combination of them, in the manner provided by this Act and the regulations; (“jalonnement au sol”)

  • Ground water means water below the land surface in a zone of saturation.

  • Sub-project means a specific development project to be carried out by a Beneficiary utilizing the proceeds of a Sub-loan;

  • Underground storage tank system means an underground storage tank and the connected underground piping, underground ancillary equipment, and containment system, if any.

  • Water surface elevation means the height, in relation to the National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD) of 1929, the North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) of 1988, or other datum, where specified, of floods of various magnitudes and frequencies in the floodplains of riverine areas.

  • Commercial building means a non-residential building other than an agricultural building, an industrial building or an institutional building.
