Ground Area definition

Ground Area means the area of a building within its largest outside dimensions computed on a horizontal plane at the foundation level, exclusive of open terraces and patios.

More Definitions of Ground Area

Ground Area means any projected or suspended occu- pied areas above the ground level in combination with areas in con- tact with the ground. Measurements in determining the ground area shall be taken from outside wall to outside wall and shall include the sum of the areas of all additions and the area of the original struc- ture.
