Grievance Defined. A grievance is a claim by a member of the bargaining unit that there has been a violation of misapplication of the provisions of this agreement.
Grievance Defined. A “grievance” is hereby defined as an alleged violation of the terms of this Agreement by the County, an employee, or group of employees. Grievance Procedure/Step One - Any employee or group of employees having a grievance shall present the grievance to the immediate supervisor within 21 calendar days of the occurrence of the grievance. The immediate supervisor shall be given 14 calendar days to resolve the problem. Grievance Procedure/Step Two - If the grievance is not satisfactorily resolved by the immediate supervisor, the employee(s) shall present the grievance to the Division Head within 7 calendar days of the immediate supervisor’s decision. The Division Head shall have 7 calendar days to issue a decision.
Grievance Defined. A "grievance" shall mean a specific charge by an employee or group of employees or Union, based upon an event, condition, or circumstance under which an employee works, that a provision of this agreement has been violated or misinterpreted.
