Grey Day definition

Grey Day means a day that is not a GDO, Reserve day, Vacation or Biddable STAT, or a day with a pairing assignment.

Examples of Grey Day in a sentence

  • If, he is under MMG, then he is obligated to accept the Grey Day assignment unless, by accepting the assignment, this causes Block disruption.

  • If, using this order, the CCM is on Reserve Duty when this call is made, he will have the option to decline the Grey Day assignment if his projected hours for the Block Month are at or above the Minimum Monthly Guarantee.

  • A grievor will not be paid for attending a grievance hearing on a Grey Day or GDO.

  • However, the FCM will not be paid for attending a grievance meeting on a Grey Day or GDO.

  • If duty has not been assigned in advance the FCM is not obligated to be contactable on the Grey Day.
