Green Standard definition

Green Standard means as defined in subsection VII.A.
Green Standard means an industry recognized standard of building design, construction, renovation, and maintenance procedures that results in minimized consumption of non-renewable energy sources and optimum use of sustainable materials, resources, and methods and that is acceptable to HUD.
Green Standard or words of similar import will include the U.S. EPA’s Energy Star® rating, the Green Building Initiative’s Green Globes TM for Continual Improvement of Existing Buildings (Green Globes TM-CIEB), the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), and/or a current and similar organization with equally rigorous environmentally and sustainable practices.

  • SUB-RECIPIENT shall also terminate outstanding orders and contracts as they relate to the terminated work.

  • After meeting the requirements of Sections 2 and 3 above, evidencing the achievement of the selected Green Standard and submitting the as-improved SEP, Borrower (in a manner prescribed in Program Guidance) agrees to provide to HUD annually on the anniversary date of the as-improved SEP, without request, evidence of the continuing energy performance of the Healthcare Facility by submitting an annual SEP, each prepared or verified by a Qualified Licensed Energy Professional.

  • After, and in addition to, meeting the selected Green Standard, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ agrees to pursue, achieve, and maintain a minimum score of 75 or better on the 1-100 ENERGY STAR® score, using a Statement of Energy Performance from EPA's Portfolio Manager®.

  • When such achievement is contingent on completion of construction, repairs or alterations, then evidence, as defined by the Green Standard, that the completion of work is consistent with the Green Standard must be provided to Lender and HUD within three months of the completion of work.

  • For Projects of less than 20 units, the Borrower has elected and hereby agrees to diligently pursue and achieve the Green Standard indicated above, but the Borrower is exempt from requirements to provide an SEP and to evidence an ENERGY STAR® Score of 75 or more.

  • After, and in addition to, meeting the selected Green Standard, Borrower agrees to pursue, achieve and maintain a minimum score of 75 or better on the ▇-▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ STAR® score, using a Statement of Energy Performance from EPA's Portfolio Manager®.

  • If Tenant’s electrical usage, as reasonably determined by Landlord, exceeds the foregoing standard or exceeds the consumption level allowed under any Green Standard, Tenant shall reimburse Landlord on demand for such excess usage and shall implement measures to reduce consumption to levels that satisfy the Green Standards and are consistent with Building standards.

  • After meeting the requirements of Sections 2 and 3 above, evidencing the achievement of the selected Green Standard and the first SEP, Borrower agrees to provide to HUD annually on the anniversary date of the first SEP, without request, evidence of the continuing energy performance of the property by submitting an SEP, each prepared or verified by a Qualified Energy Professional.

  • When all requirements are met the Borrower shall provide the Lender and ensure that HUD receives evidence satisfactory to HUD of the achievement of the selected Green Standard.

  • If, due to Purchaser’s obligation to comply with any Green Standard, it receives any tax credit with respect to the Project (or the residential units therein), the Green Cost Price Adjustment shall be decreased by the aggregate amount of the tax credit.

Related to Green Standard

  • Reliability Standard means a requirement to provide for reliable operation of the bulk power system, including without limiting the foregoing requirements for the operation of existing bulk power system facilities, including cybersecurity protection, and the design of planned additions or modifications to such facilities to the extent necessary for reliable operation of the bulk power system, but shall not include any requirement to enlarge bulk power system facilities or to construct new transmission capacity or generation capacity.

  • European standard means a standard adopted by the European Committee for Standardisation, the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardisation or the European Telecommunications Standards Institute and made available for public use;

  • safety standard means the Code of Practice for the Wiring of Premises SANS 10142-1 incorporated in the Regulations;

  • Contract Standard means such standard as complies in each and every respect with all relevant provisions of the Contract;

  • Emission standard means specified limitations on the discharge of air contaminants into the atmosphere.
