Green Building Standards definition

Green Building Standards means any of the following: (a) ENERGY STAR (Certified Homes or Multifamily High-Rise); (b) Enterprise Green Communities; (c) LEED (New Construction, Homes, Midrise, Existing Buildings Operations and Maintenance, or Neighborhood Development); or (d) ICC-700 National Green Building Standard.
Green Building Standards means one or more of the following: the U.S. EPA’s Energy Star® Portfolio Manager, the Green Building Initiative’s Green Globes™ building rating system, the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) building rating system, the ASHRAE Building Energy Quotient (BEQ), the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB), or other standard for high performance buildings adopted by Landlord with respect to the Project, as the same may be revised from time to time.

Examples of Green Building Standards in a sentence

  • As and when requested by Landlord during the Lease Term, Tenant shall provide Landlord (in the format requested by Landlord and reasonably necessary or desirable to comply with the requirements of the applicable Green Building Standards or any commissioning or re-commissioning of Building systems) with data concerning Tenant’s energy consumption, water consumption, waste recycling, and the operation of Building systems.

  • Tenant acknowledges that the Building is or may be in the future certified/rated pursuant to or operated to meet one or more Green Building Standards.

  • Tenant and any occupants of the Leased Premises shall comply with the Building’s Sustainability Practices and the applicable Green Building Standards, if any.

  • Landlord shall have no liability to Tenant if, once obtained, any such Green Building Standards rating or certification lapses and is not reinstated by Landlord.

Green Building Standards means a jurisdiction’s required standards regarding:
