Granting Agencies definition

Granting Agencies means the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) and/or the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC). “Granting Agency” means any one of them.

Examples of Granting Agencies in a sentence

  • In all presentations and publications of results of Network Research, the Network Investigator shall acknowledge the author’s participation in the Network and the support of the NCE Program and Granting Agencies, and shall also refer to industrial support where appropriate.

  • In the event that the Granting Agencies are not so satisfied, they may not approve future instalments of the Grant and they shall have the right to terminate this Agreement by delivering written notice of such termination to the Network Host and the Network.

  • Require, upon demand, that the Network repay the Granting Agencies, as appropriate, all or part of the Grant.

  • In the event the NCE Program policies or policies of the Government of Canada are amended during the term of this Agreement, the Granting Agencies will provide ninety (90) days written notice to the Network and specify what amendments to this Agreement are required.

  • Upon delivery of such notice of termination the Granting Agencies shall have no further obligations towards the Network Host and the Network.

  • The Granting Agencies are neither decision makers nor advisors to the Network.

  • The Network and Network Host will inform the Granting Agencies of any evidence of possible criminal misconduct involving funding under this Agreement and shall report such matters to the appropriate authorities.

  • The Granting Agencies shall provide annually to the Network updated Annual Reporting templates and guidelines developed in accordance with the criteria of the NCE Program and which specify the submission deadlines for each element of the Annual Report.

  • Information as to the use and disclosure of personal information provided to the Granting Agencies can be viewed in the NCE Program Guide.

  • In all presentations and publications of results of Network Research, the Network Investigator shall acknowledge the author’s participation in the Network and the support of the NCE Program and Granting Agencies, and shall also refer to industrial support where appropriate (subject to written permission to do so where appropriate).

Related to Granting Agencies

  • Implementing Agencies means the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and the World Bank in accordance with paragraph 22 of the Instrument.

  • Financing agency means a bank, finance company, or other person that in the ordinary course of business makes advances against goods or documents of title or that by arrangement with either the seller or the buyer intervenes in ordinary course to make or collect payment due or claimed under the contract for sale, as by purchasing or paying the sellers draft or making advances against it or by merely taking it for collection whether or not documents of title accompany or are associated with the draft. "Financing agency" includes also a bank or other person that similarly intervenes between persons that are in the position of seller and buyer in respect to the goods under section 2707.

  • Participating Agencies means members of National Purchasing Partners for which Vendor has agreed to extend the terms of this Master Price Agreement pursuant to Article 2.6 and Attachment C herein. For purposes of cooperative procurement, “Participating Agency” shall be considered “Purchaser” under the terms of this Agreement.

  • Agencies means only those rating agencies that are engaged by the applicable depositors to rate the securities issued in connection with the Securitizations of the securitized Notes.

  • Rating Agencies means DBRS, Fitch, KBRA, ▇▇▇▇▇’▇, Morningstar and S&P and their respective successors in interest or, if any of such entities shall for any reason no longer perform the functions of a securities rating agency, any other nationally recognized statistical rating agency reasonably designated by any Note Holder to rate the securities issued in connection with the Securitization of the related Note; provided, however, that, at any time during which the Mortgage Loan is an asset of one or more Securitizations, “Rating Agencies” or “Rating Agency” shall mean only those rating agencies that are engaged from time to time to rate the securities issued in connection with the Securitizations of the Notes.
