Grafting definition

Grafting means uniting a short detached piece of stem tissue with several buds (graft stick) and a rootstock cutting or growing grapevine so that both parts produce tissue and form a union that allows the buds on the graft stick to survive and grow.
Grafting means to unite a macadamia tree shoot to an established macadamia tree root stock for future production of maca- damia nuts.
