GP Practice definition

GP Practice means the GP practices who from time to time receive or have previously received services from iPlato and are users of the iPlato Connect and other iPlato services.
GP Practice means a provider of GMS contract essential services.
GP Practice means a business that delivers general practice or primary health services (through one or more locations, including mobile services) through a Referring Practitioner;

  • Patients can opt out of having their data processed for secondary uses, such as Population Health Management, by: • Registering a NHS National Data Opt-out with NHS Digital • Registering a Type 1 Opt-out with their GP Practice Patients cannot opt-out of having their data processed for secondary uses, such as Population Health Management, once this has been anonymised in accordance with the ICO Code of Practice.

  • Patients should only be accepted into the service if the pharmacist can confirm the patient’s identity, NHS number and have reasonable proof of registration with a participating GP Practice.

  • Patients presenting at a participating Community Pharmacy confirmed as being registered with a participating GP Practice will receive the level of care as laid out in this specification.

  • Accordingly any requests by you for information will be dealt with by the GP Practice pursuant to their own privacy policy.

  • Personal data will not be transferred to a country or territory outside the European Economic Area unless that country or territory ensures an adequate level of protection for the rights and freedoms of data subjects in relation to the processing of personal data, which is consistent with the UK’s data protection legislation and has been approved by the GP Practice.

  • For patients registered within a participating GP Practice, the pharmacist will need to verify the patients GP practice registration by one of the following methods: • Pharmacy’s Patient Medication Record (PMR).

  • Our services are not intended for use by those under the age of 16 but data and information about such individuals may be processed by the GP Practice and the PATCHS Software pursuant to the legitimate and vital interest of providing and managing health and care services to all the GP Practice’s patients, service users and clients.


More Definitions of GP Practice

GP Practice means a medical practice including one or more general practitioners practising as such,
GP Practice means a provider of primary medical services in accordance with the Act;
GP Practice means a Platform User that is a business operating a general practice medical business. Platform User Representative means the person listed in the Client Service Agreement who is authorised on behalf of the Platform User to enter into this Agreement. Practice Size means the size of the GP Practice or number of Practice Users detailed in the Client Service Agreement. Practice Staff means any employees of a GP Practice who are provided access to and use the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇ Platform in the course of their employment with the GP Practice. Intellectual Property means all present and future Rights conferred by statute, common law or equity in or in relation to any copyright, trade marks, designs, patents, circuit layouts, plant varieties, business and domain names, inventions, business models, trade secrets, moral rights and other results of intellectual activity in the industrial, commercial, scientific, literary or artistic fields, whether or not registrable, registered or patentable.
GP Practice means the practice of a general medical practitioner (whether a sole practitioner, a partnership or a body corporate); "Guarantee" means the deed of guarantee in favour of the Framework Authority entered into by the Guarantor on or about the date of the Framework Agreement (which is in the form set out in Schedule 6 (Guarantee)) to the Framework Agreement, or any guarantee acceptable to the Framework Authority that replaces it from time to time; "Guarantor" means Capita PLC, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 02081330 and whose registered office is at ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇; "Half Year Financial Statements" has the meaning in Paragraph 3.6.1 of Schedule 5.3 (Records Provisions) of the Framework Agreement; "Halifax Abuse Principle" means the principle explained in the CJEU Case C-255/02 Halifax and others; "Health and Safety Policy" means the health and safety policy of the Framework Authority and/or the Customer and/or other relevant Central Government Body as provided to the Supplier on or before the Framework Effective Date or Service Commencement Date (as the case may be) and as subsequently provided to the Supplier from time to time except any provision of any such subsequently provided policy that cannot be reasonably reconciled to ensuring compliance with applicable Law regarding health and safety; "Health and Wellbeing Board" means the forum in which key leaders from the health and care system work together to improve the health and wellbeing of their local population and reduce health inequalities; "Health Campaign Management Services" means any Services delivered or to be delivered to a Customer under a Call-Off Agreement, falling within the scope of the health campaign management Services for primary care, as detailed in Section 1 of Paragraph 4.1 of Schedule 3.1 (Service Description) of the Framework Agreement; "Health Education England" means the NHS health and healthcare people service, responsible for the education, training and personal development of every member of staff, and recruiting for values; "Health Equity Audit" means the review procedure which examines how health determinants, access to relevant health services and related outcomes are distributed across the population, relative to need and
GP Practice means a provider of general medical services to NHS England under arrangements to which Part 4 of the 2006 Act applies; “ICS” means a collaborative arrangement through which NHS organisations, in partnership with local authorities and others, take collective responsibility for managing resources, delivering NHS standards, and improving the health of the population they serve, as described at ▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇.▇▇/integratedcare/integrated- care-systems/; “PCN” means a locally-established network of GP Practices, as described at ▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇.▇▇/gp/gpfv/redesign/primary- care-networks/; “STP” means a partnership formed by NHS organisations and local authorities to run services in a more coordinated way, to agree system-wide priorities, and to plan collectively how to improve residents’ day-to-day health as described at ▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇.▇▇/integratedcare/stps/ ; in each case including such a body as governed, managed, established or succeeded by another body under an Act or any regulations or guidance made as contemplated by the Buyer consultation document “Integrating Care” (November 2020) and “Integration and Innovation: working together to improve health and social care for all” (CP 381, February 2021).

Related to GP Practice

  • Group practice means a group of two or more health care providers legally organized as a partnership, professional corporation, or similar association:

  • Unfair practice means (i) establishing contact with any person connected with or employed or engaged by the Authority with the objective of canvassing, lobbying or in any manner influencing or attempting to influence the Bidding Process; or (ii) having a Conflict of Interest; and

  • Good Practice means such practice in the processing of personal data as appears to the Commissioner to be desirable having regard to the interests of data subjects and others, and includes (but is not limited to) compliance with the requirements of this Act;
