Government Appointee definition
Government Appointee means a Director appointed by the Government;
Government Appointee means a person who is a public servant by virtue of paragraph 5 of subsection (2); (“personne nommée par le gouvernement”)

If not previously effected as aforesaid, the appointment of the Government Appointee as a Director shall be deemed to have taken effect on the day specified in the notice provided that this shall be after receipt by the Governor of such notice from the Government Preference Stockholder.
Subject to the Companies ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ (to the extent applicable), a Government Appointee shall not be removed from the Board other than by the Government Preference Stockholder in accordance with this Bye-Law.
