The Parents/Legal Guardians agree to pay the annual dues and such other assessments as may be imposed from time-to-time by the MJGA upon the Junior Golfer.
The Junior Golfer shall attempt, in good faith, to actively participate in the clinics, tournaments, and other activities conducted, sponsored and operated by the MJGA and diligently apply himself/herself to the task of improving his/her skills as a golfer.
If the Parents/Legal Guardians or Junior Golfer shall be in default of any provision herein, the MJGA may impose such sanctions against the Junior Golfer, as they may deem appropriate, including but not limited to, expulsion, suspension, withholding of prizes, trophies, awards and monetary fines.
These practice rounds serve not only as practice for the Junior Golfer but also for the parents, familiarizing themselves in scoring, rules, etiquette, etc.
In addition, the Junior Golfer must complete a short statement describing their experiences at the event they participated in and what lessons were learned.
In consideration of the foregoing terms and covenant, the MJGA hereby accepts the Junior Golfer as a member of the Maui Junior Golf Association and confers upon the Junior Golfer all rights and privileges pertaining thereto.
The Parents/Legal Guardians further understand and agree that their inability or refusal to perform their fair share of services which they are capable of undertaking shall constitute sufficient grounds for expulsion or suspension of the Junior Golfer or for the imposition of other disciplinary sanctions deemed appropriate by the MJGA.
Participation by the Junior Golfer shall not be limited to the practice and playing golf nor to the learning of golf skills and course management, but shall also include rendering of assistance in tournaments such as the Annual Golf Tournament fundraiser, and performing other tasks assigned by the Officers, Directors, Instructors and other responsible adult members of the MJGA.
It is understood, however, that any such identification must be of a size, shape and location not in conflict with LPGA rules or the rules governing any professional golf tournament in which Golfer participates.
In no event shall Golfer be required to use Licensed Products which are unsatisfactory, including during any period in which Company is attempting to replace such Licensed Products with satisfactory ones.
