GeoResources definition

GeoResources is as defined in the introductory clauses hereof.
GeoResources has the meaning specified in Section 3.14(d).

Related to GeoResources

  • Resources shall have the meaning set forth in Section 23.1 of this Agreement.

  • economic resources means assets of every kind, whether tangible or intangible, movable or immovable, which are not funds, but may be used to obtain funds, goods or services;

  • Public resources means water, fish, and wildlife and in addition means capital improvements of the state or its political subdivisions.

  • Water resources means all waters of the state occurring on the surface, in natural or artificial channels, lakes, reservoirs, or impoundments, and in subsurface aquifers, which are available, or which may be made available to agricultural, industrial, commercial, recreational, public, and domestic users;

  • Energy means electricity, natural gas, steam, hot or chilled water, fuel oil, or other product for use in a building, or renewable on-site electricity generation, for purposes of providing heating, cooling, lighting, water heating, or for powering or fueling other end-uses in the building and related facilities, as reflected in Utility bills or other documentation of actual Energy use.

  • Historic resource means a publicly or privately owned historic building, structure, site, object, feature, or open space located within an historic district designated by the national register of historic places, the state register of historic sites, or a local unit acting under the local historic districts act, 1970 PA 169, MCL 399.201 to 399.215, or that is individually listed on the state register of historic sites or national register of historic places, and includes all of the following:

  • Freshwater means all waters not defined as saltwater

  • Natural resources means land, fish, wildlife, biota, air, water, ground water, drinking water supplies, and other such resources belonging to, managed by, held in trust by, appertaining to, or otherwise controlled by the United States or the State.

  • Basin means a groundwater basin or subbasin identified and defined in Bulletin 118 or as modified pursuant to Chapter 3 (commencing with Section 10722).

  • Pioneer or the "Company" means Pioneer Natural Resources Company and its subsidiaries.

  • Production company means a person or entity engaged in the business of making motion picture, television, or radio images for theatrical, commercial, advertising, or education purposes; Reserved

  • Summit means the Summit of the Heads of State or Government of SADC established by Article 9 of this Treaty;

  • FOG means fats, oils, and grease.

  • AES means the Advanced Encryption Standard, a specification of Federal Information Processing Standards Publications for the encryption of electronic data issued by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (xxxx://xxxxxxx.xxxx.xxx/nistpubs/FIPS/NIST.FIPS.197.pdf).

  • Enterprises means DTE Enterprises, Inc., a Michigan corporation wholly-owned by the Borrower.

  • Hydroelectric energy means water used as the sole source of energy to produce electricity.

  • School resource officer means a law enforcement officer or police officer employed by a local law enforcement agency who is assigned to a district through an agreement between the local law enforcement agency and the district.

  • Fuels – shall mean crude oil, petroleum products, biocomponents, biofuels and other fuels, including natural gas, industrial gases and fuel gases.----------------------------------------------------------

  • Ecology means the Washington state department of ecology.

  • Exploration means all activities directed toward ascertaining the existence, location, quantity, quality or commercial value of deposits of Products.

  • Bedrock means continuous rock that underlies the soil or is exposed at the surface. Bedrock is generally considered impervious, but if fractured or deteriorated, it may allow effluent to pass through without adequate treatment.

  • Cultural resources means archaeological and historic sites and artifacts, and traditional religious, ceremonial and social uses and activities of affected Indian tribes.

  • Forest means an area of land defined by the minimum values for area size, tree crown cover or an equivalent stocking level, and potential tree height at maturity at the place of growth of the trees as specified for each Member State in Annex II. It includes areas with trees, including groups of growing, young, natural trees, or plantations that have yet to reach the minimum values for tree crown cover or an equivalent stocking level or minimum tree height as specified in Annex II, including any area that normally forms part of the forest area but on which there are temporarily no trees as a result of human intervention, such as harvesting, or as a result of natural causes, but which area can be expected to revert to forest;

  • computer resource means computer, computer system, computer network, data, computer data base or software;

  • Greenfield means land not developed beyond agricultural, range, or forestry use.
