Geographic Coordinate definition

Geographic Coordinate means the point location of a stormwater feature expressed by
Geographic Coordinate for purposes of this permit means the point location of a stormwater feature expressed by X, Y coordinates of a standard Cartesian coordinate system (i.e. latitude/longitude) that can be readily converted to Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM), Zone 15N in the NAD83 datum. The geographic coordinate will typically define the approximate center of a stormwater feature.

Examples of Geographic Coordinate in a sentence

  • All files are to be projected to North American Datum (NAD 83) UTM Zone 17 Geographic Coordinate System.

  • Geographic Data must be projected to the Geographic Coordinate System World Geodetic System 1984 (GCS WGS 1984).

  • Using the Geographic Coordinate System beginning at point A located at 01° 18' 00" South Latitude, 136° 50' 00" East Longitude; proceed eastward in a direct line to point B located at 01° 18' 00" South Latitude, 138° 00' 00" East Longitude.

  • If Activity Location Data exists in a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) format: 1) it must also be submitted in a Shapefile (.shp) or GeoJSON (.geojson) file format; 2) use the Geographic Coordinate System World Geodetic System 1984 (GCS WGS 1984) spatial reference; and 3) include metadata ISO 19115 using the ISO 19139 XML implementation schema.

  • Co-ordinates given on the maps are defined below by reference to the following coordinates using WGS 1984 Geographic Coordinate Reference System.

  • All geospatial data, unless specified otherwise, shall be in the Geographic Coordinate System: GCS_WGS_1984, Datum: D_WGS_1984.

  • When collected, latitude and longitude coordinates must be submitted in Decimal Degrees (hddd.ddddd) with at least five decimal places using the Geographic Coordinate System World Geodetic System 1984 (GCS WGS 1984) spatial reference.

  • OFFSHORE, IRIAN JAYA Using the Geographic Coordinate System beginning at point A located at 01° 18' 00" South Latitude, 136° 50' 00" East Longitude; proceed eastward in a direct line to point B located at 01° 18' 00" South Latitude, 138° 00' 00" East Longitude.

  • All Geographic Data must be projected to the Geographic Coordinate System World Geodetic System 1984 (GCS WGS 1984).
