Generation Output definition

Generation Output means the total amount of 60 Hz Demand supplied by the Customer at any time as measured at the generator terminals of its 60 Hz generators plus the amount of Demand measured at the 60 Hz terminals of the 50Hz – 60Hz frequency converter;

Examples of Generation Output in a sentence

  • Expected Generation Output changes after one (1) hour before the CAISO deadline for Hour-Ahead Schedules, but before the CAISO Hour-Ahead deadline, shall also be reported by Seller to Buyer as soon as reasonably possible.

  • Seller shall provide the Expected Generation Output forecasts described below.

  • During each month of the Delivery Term, Seller or Seller’s agent shall provide a binding Day-Ahead forecast of Expected Generation Output to Buyer via Buyer’s internet website for each day no later than fourteen (14) hours before the beginning of the “Preschedule Day” (as defined by the WECC) for such day.

  • Ten (10) Business Days before the beginning of each month during the Delivery Term, Seller shall provide to Buyer a non-binding forecast of the hourly Expected Generation Output for each day of the following month in a form reasonably acceptable to Buyer.

  • During the Delivery Term, Seller shall notify Buyer of any changes in Expected Generation Output of one (1) MW (AC) or more through the method preferred by Xxxxx, whether due to Forced Outage, Force Majeure or other cause, as soon as reasonably possible, but no later than one (1) hour before Buyer is required to submit Hour-Ahead schedules to the CAISO.

  • Such Notices shall contain information regarding the beginning date and time of the event resulting in the change in Expected Generation Output, the expected end date and time of such event, the Expected Generation Output in MW (AC), and any other information required by the CAISO or reasonably requested by Xxxxx.

  • During the Delivery Term, Seller shall notify Buyer of any changes in Expected Generation Output of one (1) MW (AC) or more through the method preferred by Buyer, whether due to Forced Outage, Force Majeure or other cause, as soon as reasonably possible, but no later than one (1) hour before Buyer is required to submit Hour-Ahead schedules to the CAISO.

  • Exceptions are posted on the WECC website (www.wecc.biz) under the document title, “Preschedule Calendar.” Each Day-Ahead Expected Generation Notice shall clearly identify, for each hour, Seller’s forecast of all amounts of Expected Generation Output pursuant to this Agreement.

Related to Generation Output

  • Generation means the production of electricity;

  • cogeneration means the simultaneous generation in one process of thermal energy and electrical or mechanical energy;

  • Output means the exposure rate, dose rate, or a quantity related in a known manner to these rates from a brachytherapy source or a teletherapy, remote afterloader, or gamma stereotactic radiosurgery unit for a specified set of exposure conditions.

  • generating plant means the generating facility described in Schedule 1 as amended from time to time;

  • Co-generation means the sequential production of electricity

  • Generating Facility means the Generating Unit(s) comprising Seller’s power plant, as more particularly described in Section 1.02 and Exhibit B, including all other materials, equipment, systems, structures, features and improvements necessary to produce electric energy and thermal energy, excluding the Site, land rights and interests in land.

  • Electric generation service means the provision of retail

  • Generation Owner means a Member that owns, leases with rights equivalent to ownership, or otherwise controls and operates one or more operating generation resources located in the PJM Region. The foregoing notwithstanding, for a planned generation resource to qualify a Member as a Generation Owner, such resource shall have cleared an RPM auction, and for Energy Resources, the resource shall have a FERC-jurisdictional interconnection agreement or wholesale market participation agreement within PJM. Purchasing all or a portion of the output of a generation resource shall not be sufficient to qualify a Member as a Generation Owner. For purposes of Members Committee sector classification, a Member that is primarily a retail end- user of electricity that owns generation may qualify as a Generation Owner if: (1) the generation resource is the subject of a FERC-jurisdictional interconnection agreement or wholesale market participation agreement within PJM; (2) the average physical unforced capacity owned by the Member and its affiliates over the five Planning Periods immediately preceding the relevant Planning Period exceeds the average PJM capacity obligation of the Member and its affiliates over the same time period; and (3) the average energy produced by the Member and its affiliates within PJM over the five Planning Periods immediately preceding the relevant Planning Period exceeds the average energy consumed by the Member and its affiliates within PJM over the same time period. Generation Resource Maximum Output:

  • renewable energy sources means renewable sources such as small hydro, wind, solar including its integration with combined cycle, biomass, bio fuel cogeneration, urban or municipal waste and other such sources as approved by the MNRE;

  • Generation Interconnection Customer means an entity that submits an Interconnection Request to interconnect a new generation facility or to increase the capacity of an existing generation facility interconnected with the Transmission System in the PJM Region. Generation Interconnection Request:

  • Renewable energy system means a fixture, product, device, or interacting group of fixtures, products, or devices on the customer's side of the meter that use 1 or more renewable energy resources to generate electricity. Renewable energy system includes a biomass stove but does not include an incinerator or digester.

  • Gasification means the substoichiometric oxidation or steam reformation of a substance to produce a gaseous mixture containing two or more of the following: (i) oxides of carbon; (ii) methane; and (iii) hydrogen;

  • Processing Plant means plant systems, located on or off the Leased Premises, that include a gas processing plant, natural gasoline plant, gasoline plant, or other plant where raw unprocessed natural gas is processed to remove or extract Raw Mix from the natural gas stream to produce a Pipeline- Quality Natural Gas or Residue Gas and other products, and the Raw Mix is then either (i) separated by fractionation down to its base components prior to storage and/or transport that meets or conforms to all applicable Gas Processors Association (GPA) Standards and/or Specifications for the commercial sale of each liquefiable hydrocarbon product, or (ii) transported to another plant for separation down to its base components by fractionation prior to storage and/or transport for the commercial sale of each liquefiable hydrocarbon product. Any deductions, costs, or processing fees associated with the removal or recovery of Natural Gas Liquids is strictly limited to only that part of any Processing Plant or facility where Raw Mix is recovered, and if applicable at that plant, also fractionated to their component parts.

  • Generation Interconnection Feasibility Study means a study conducted by the Transmission Provider (in coordination with the affected Transmission Owner(s)) in accordance with Tariff, Part IV, section 36.2.

  • Renewable Energy Standard means the minimum renewable energy capacity portfolio, if applicable, and the renewable energy credit portfolio required to be achieved under section 28 or former section 27.

  • Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel means diesel fuel that has a sulfur content of no more than fifteen parts per

  • Base Load Generation Resource means a Generation Capacity Resource that operates at least 90 percent of the hours that it is available to operate, as determined by the Office of the Interconnection in accordance with the PJM Manuals.

  • Electrical Distance means, for a Generation Capacity Resource geographically located outside the metered boundaries of the PJM Region, the measure of distance, based on impedance and in accordance with the PJM Manuals, from the Generation Capacity Resource to the PJM Region.

  • Rechargeable Electrical Energy Storage System (REESS) means the rechargeable energy storage system that provides electric energy for electrical propulsion.

  • Generating Facilities means Interconnection Customer’s device for the production and/or storage for later injection of electricity identified in the Interconnection Request, but shall not include the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities. Generation Interconnection Customer:

  • Geothermal fluid means water in any form at temperatures greater than 120

  • business vertical means a distinguishable component of an enterprise that is engaged in the supply of individual goods or services or a group of related goods or services which is subject to risks and returns that are different from those of the other business verticals.

  • voltage means the root-mean-square value of electrical potential between two conductors.

  • Generation Service means the sale of electricity, including ancillary services such as the provision of reserves, to a Customer by a Competitive Supplier.

  • Biomass means the biodegradable fraction of products, waste and residues from biological origin from agriculture (including vegetal and animal substances), forestry and related industries including fisheries and aquaculture, as well as the biodegradable fraction of industrial and municipal waste;

  • Suction outlet means the opening or fitting through which the water under negative pressure is drawn from the pool or spa.
