Generation or production definition
Generation or production means the activity of making, producing, creating, or converting electric power from sources other than a conventional power source, as defined in Section 2805 of the Public Utilities Code.
Generation or production means the activity of making, producing, creating, or converting electric power from sources other than a conventional power source, as defined in section 2805 of the Public Utilities Code. Section 2805 defines conventional power source as power derived from nuclear energy or the operation of a hydropower facility greater than 30 megawatts or the combustion of fossil fuels, unless cogeneration technology, as defined in Public Resources Code section 25134, is employed in the production of such power.
