General Reserves definition

General Reserves and “Retained Earnings” have the meanings ascribed to them in the Applicable Accounts;
General Reserves means and includes the general reserves of the Transferee Company which have been built primarily through transfer of retained undistributed profits over the years, pursuant to the provisions of the Act read with Companies (Declaration and Payment of Dividend) Rules, 2014 and erstwhile notified rules under the provisions of Companies Act 1956, namely, the Companies (Transfer of Profits to Reserves) Rules, 1975 and which forms a part of the revenue reserves of the Transferee Company, as reflected in the books of accounts of the Transferee Company;
General Reserves refers to the amount recorded by the Bank as non-interest expense arising from the establishment of a reserve or an allowance against loan losses generally and not allocable to one or more specific assets, as set forth in its TFR for the applicable period.

  • In case of there being a deficit, the same shall be adjusted by the Transferee Company to its General Reserves and the balance if any, shall be adjusted against the Profit and loss account.

  • Mineral Reserve means the economically mineable part of a measured or indicated mineral resource demonstrated by at least a preliminary feasibility study. This study must include adequate information on mining, processing, metallurgical, economic and other relevant factors that demonstrate, at the time of reporting, that economic extraction can be justified. A mineral reserve includes diluting materials and allowances for losses that may occur when the material is mined.

  • Total Reserves means, at any time of determination, an amount equal to the product of (i) the sum of: (a) the Yield Reserve Percentage, plus (b) the greater of (I) the sum of the Concentration Reserve Percentage, plus the Minimum Dilution Reserve Percentage and (II) the sum of the Loss Reserve Percentage, plus the Dilution Reserve Percentage, times (ii) the Net Receivables Pool Balance at such time.

  • Capital Reserves means, for any period and with respect to a Property, an amount equal to (a) $0.05 per square foot times (b) a fraction, the numerator of which is the number of days in such period and the denominator of which is 365. If the term Capital Reserves is used without reference to any specific Property, then the amount shall be determined on an aggregate basis with respect to all Properties of the Trust and its Subsidiaries and a proportionate share of all Properties of all Unconsolidated Affiliates.

  • Proven Mineral Reserve means the economically mineable part of a Measured Mineral Resource. A Proven Mineral Reserve implies a high degree of confidence in the Modifying Factors.

  • Capital Reserve means for any period and with respect to a Property (other than any Projects Under Development), an amount equal to the product of (i) the gross leaseable area contained in such Property (in square feet), multiplied by (ii) $0.30 per annum.
