General Observations are not listed in Table 7.1 because they are not a specific method. General and noteworthy conditions are observed during the time period the sampler is at a sample site and recorded as comments in the Water Database. Cleaning of sample equipment follows manufacturer’s instructions and details listed in the equipment SOPs. Improper cleaning can cause damage to equipment. Sterile bacteria sample bottles are provided by the DOH laboratory and are not cleaned by LWRD staff.
