General Electives definition

General Electives are courses counting toward the total of 120 credits needed for graduation but not counting toward any major or general degree requirement. Corning Community College courses which are not listed below may still be included in the 60 to 68 credits accepted for transfer, even if they do not meet any of the Major, Minor, or General Degree requirements at Elmira College; however, all courses accepted in transfer must be of a generally similar nature, content, and level to Elmira College courses (and must not be remedial or narrowly vocational).
