GECP definition

GECP means the generally accepted practices, skill, care, methods, techniques and standards employed by the international LNG industry at the time of the Contract Date that are commonly used in prudent engineering, procurement and construction to safely design, construct, pre-commission, commission, start-up and test LNG export, liquefaction and send-out terminal facilities of similar size and type as the Project, in accordance with Applicable Law and Applicable Codes and Standards.
GECP means the generally recognized and accepted reasonable and prudent practices, methods, skill, care, techniques and standards employed by the international LNG liquefaction and storage engineering and construction industries with respect to: (i) the engineering, procurement, construction, pre- commissioning, Commissioning, testing and start-up of natural gas liquefaction and storage facilities of similar size and type as the Train 4 Facility and in accordance with Applicable Codes and Standards and Applicable Law; (ii) personnel and facility safety and environmental protection; (iii) efficient scheduling of the Work; and (iv) the reliability and availability of the Train 4 Facility under the operating conditions reasonably expected at the Site, as specified in Attachment A.
GECP means the generally accepted practices, methods, techniques and standards employed by the United States of America natural gas distribution industry with respect to: (a) the design, construction, commissioning and testing of natural gas pipeline delivery systems, which includes, but is not limited to, the Applicable Codes and Standards and the standards recommended by the equipment suppliers and manufacturers of the equipment and (b) personnel and plant safety and environmental protection reasonably expected at the Facility.
