GDO definition

GDO. (Guaranteed Day Off) means up to two (2) consecutive guaranteed days off that any reserve (including Ready Reserve) may designate during the line adjustment period in accordance with Section 11.J. of the Agreement.
GDO means the GCC(EI) or an organization designated by the GCC(EI) pursuant to Chapter 28;

Examples of GDO in a sentence

  • Protected Areas are normally established after Protected Area Impact and Benefit Agreements have been negotiated between Government and a GDO (6.4.1).

  • A Flight Attendant who is drafted on a GDO will be paid as per Article 5.02 and Article 5.01.20 (c).

  • The Flight Attendant will also receive a GDO premium of four (4) flight credits based on their current salary in addition to the regular credited time earned for the day.

  • A Flight Attendant will not be drafted on a GDO consecutive with vacation.

  • The regular credited flight time earned on an accepted GDO assignment will be added to all other credited flight time for the block, but are not counted in hours worked when calculating overtime hours.

  • Duty on a GDO shall be voluntary, however if no Flight Attendant is available on a voluntary basis then any eligible Flight Attendant may be drafted.

  • Hours worked on a GDO will always count as credit in addition to the Minimum Monthly Guarantee, but are not counted in hours worked when calculating overtime hours.

  • Government shall advise the GDO as soon as possible after the establishment, disestablishment or changing of the boundaries of the Protected Area on the necessity of the action and the terms and conditions attached thereto.

  • An on-site survey conducted by the Government Docking Observer (GDO) may be required to validate the facility’s capability.

  • The Lands identified in Schedule 5-2 shall vest in the MDO and the GDO.
