Gateway Account definition

Gateway Account means an account that ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇ will establish on behalf of an Approved Merchant, upon Merchant’s execution of an ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇ Merchant Service Agreement and ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇’s receipt of approval and acceptance by the applicable financial institution(s), for the purpose of providing the Approved Merchant with one or more of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇ Services. “Merchant” means any Person regularly engaged in the sale of goods or services to whom Reseller sells, offers to sell, or has sold any of its products or services. “Merchant Service Provider” means an entity that provides Merchant a merchant acquiring account and/or othe non-payment gateway services, including, without limitation, a reseller, acquirer or acquiring bank, independent service provider, application service provider, merchant aggregator, or financing agency. “Payment Network Rules” means rules promulgated from time to time by Visa U.S.A., Inc., Visa International, Inc., or MasterCard International, Inc., including, but not limited to, the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS), Visa Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP), MasterCard’s Site Data Protection Program (SDP) and any other rules of any other credit or debit card issuing company, such as, without limitation, Discover Card, Diner’s Club or American Express.

Examples of Gateway Account in a sentence
