This Agreement excludes Heavy and Highway and Utility construction and Gas Line Distribution Systems on public right-of-ways.
As used in this Title, the term "Company" shall include: Pacific Gas and Electric Company Standard Pacific Gas Line, Inc.
Outside Gas Line Protection Plan This Protection Plan covers the cost for repair or replacement necessary to remedy a Leak in your Outside Gas Line.
For example: if you have a failure with your Inside Gas Line, and if the maximum limit of protection is $2,000, and if IGS pays $1,500 for diagnosis of the failure and repair services, then you will have $500 of Inside Gas Line protection remaining for the next 12 months.
Coverage for Gas Line is limited to the following: • If connected to a gas main, the primary Gas Line from the utility’s responsibility, up to and including the gas appliance connectors located either inside or outside the Residence.
During the term of coverage, subject to the terms and conditions of this Service Agreement, We agree, in the event of a covered Breakdown, that the Administrator will arrange for an authorized technician to repair or replace the Gas Line indicated as covered in this Service Agreement under Section G – Coverage Descriptions and located at the service address listed on Your utility billing statement.
Damage or correction of damage caused by accident, abuse, neglect, failure to properly maintain, or negligent use of the Gas Line.
If the Gas Line extends beyond the walls of the Residence, the land must be owned by You for Us to perform covered repairs.
The Gas Line must be in good working order and free of breaks and/or leaks prior to enrolling in the plan.
COVERED: All parts, material, and labor to repair or replace a Breakdown to Your External Gas Line.
