Garbage removal services definition
Garbage removal services means all services performed in connection with the collection, pick up, and physical removal of garbage from a customer’s premises within this State and the transportation of the garbage from the customer’s premises to a facility for processing, treatment, or disposal or transfer to another facility for processing, treatment, or disposal, but shall not include any services performed by the provider of garbage removal services, or another person on behalf of the service provider, to process, treat, or dispose or transfer the garbage removed from the customer’s premises, provided that the charges for services performed to process, treat, or dispose or transfer the removed garbage are separately stated on the sales slip, invoice, receipt, or other similar statement or memorandum of the service charge given to the customer at the time the charge is paid or becomes payable.
