Examples of GALAC in a sentence

  • On and subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Buyer agrees to purchase from Seller, and Seller agrees to sell to Buyer, all of its GALAC Shares for the consideration specified below in this Section 2.

  • To the Knowledge of Seller, there are no outstanding powers of attorney executed on behalf of GALAC.

  • Raptor means all birds of the orders Falconiformes and Strigiformes, commonly called falcons,

  • Alliance means the Public Service Alliance of Canada;

  • TEC means the Technical Evaluation Committee, constituted for the purpose of evaluating the Proposals received.

  • ESMP or “Environmental and Social Management Plan” means with respect to each activity under the Project pursuant to which the ESMF requires it, a plan to be prepared by the Recipient pursuant to Section I.D.1 of Schedule 2 to this Agreement, in accordance with the provisions of the ESMF and approved by the Association, setting out measures to mitigate any adverse environmental and social impacts arising from such activities; and “ESMPs” means more than one ESMP.

  • Crown means the government of the United Kingdom (including the Northern Ireland Assembly and Executive Committee, the Scottish Executive and the National Assembly for Wales), including, but not limited to, government ministers and government departments and particular bodies, persons, commissions or agencies from time to time carrying out functions on its behalf;

  • MERC means the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission.

  • Pioneer or the "Company" means Pioneer Natural Resources Company and its subsidiaries.

  • CSDCC means the China Securities Depository and Clearing Co., Ltd. “CSRC” means the China Securities Regulatory Commission.

  • Atlas means Automated Transportation Logistics Activity System. ATLAS is a computerized information system to which all Shippers have access upon request. ATLAS enables Shippers to nominate and release product and to monitor and coordinate the movement of Petroleum Products while on Carrier's system.

  • CCC means Customer Care Centre

  • Parent means a “parent corporation,” whether now or hereafter existing, as defined in Section 424(e) of the Code.

  • SPI means the information categories listed at Tex. Bus. & Com. Code § 521.002(a)(2).

  • ANI means automatic number identification.

  • SHCP means Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público, the Borrower’s Ministry of Finance and Public Credit.

  • MP means Monongahela Power Company, an Ohio corporation.

  • ESMF means Environmental and Social Management Framework, the document adopted by the Recipient on December 29, 2006, as updated as of June 21, 2010, consisting of a framework outlining the modalities for social and environmental screening of Project activities and rules and procedures for the preparation and implementation of ESIA to be complied with, as the case may be, prior to carrying out such activity.

  • BCI means the Bureau of Criminal Identification, and is the designated state agency of the Division of Criminal Investigation and Technical Services Division, within the Department of Public Safety, responsible to maintain criminal records in the State of Utah.

  • Ephemeral stream means a feature that carries only stormwater in direct response to precipitation with water flowing only during and shortly after large precipitation events. An ephemeral stream may or may not have a well-defined channel, the aquatic bed is always above the water table, and stormwater runoff is the primary source of water. An ephemeral stream typically lacks the biological, hydrological, and physical characteristics commonly associated with the continuous or intermittent conveyance of water.

  • ABI means Anheuser-Busch InBev SA/NV, its domestic and foreign parents, predecessors, divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates, partnerships and joint ventures (excluding Crown, and, prior to the completion of the Transaction, Modelo); and all directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives of the foregoing. The terms “parent,” “subsidiary,” “affiliate,” and “joint venture” refer to any person in which there is majority (greater than 50 percent) or total ownership or control between the company and any other person.
