Gadgets definition

Gadgets means a distinct function, feature, protocol or other application which performs a specific task, activity or process in connection with an OpenTV Publisher API or Enterprise Solution API as such term is commonly used in the industry. “Intellectual Property Right” means any patent, registered design, copyright, design right, topography right, trade ▇▇▇▇, service ▇▇▇▇, application to register any such rights, rights in the nature of any of the aforementioned rights, trade secrets, rights in unpatented know-how, right of confidence and any other intellectual or industrial property rights of any kind whatsoever in any part of the world. “Interactive Application” means a digital interactive television program or application, whether developed by OPENTV, Licensee or a third party, which is either stored in a Receiver’s memory, or transmitted by Licensee to the Receiver and which relies on OPENTV Application Program Interface(s) to run on an OPENTV-enabled Receiver.
