Fund category definition

Fund category. (FCAT) means the grouping of either CORE funds or institution’s accounting system funds into columns for financial statement presentation. The FCAT for each fund is contained in the FR- 0002 Central Chart of Account listing in info Advantage. The fund category for CAFR purposes may be broader than the groupings at the individual stand-alone financial statement level.

Examples of Fund category in a sentence

  • Such Fund deletion will be considered to have the potential to materially affect the risk profile of the available Funds only if (i) the deletion removes the only Fund then in a Morningstar Fund category listed in Schedule D, and (ii) immediately following the deletion, the remaining available Funds represent less than seven (7) of the Morningstar Fund categories listed in Schedule D.
