Functional Defects definition

Functional Defects. Functional defects in system modules may affect the normal use of the system.
Functional Defects means defects to components of a building which prevent, or significantly impair, the functionality of a component of the building or property. A functional defect could be as minor as a broken cupboard door hinge, or a leaking toilet, or as serious as a leaking roof, damp in the walls, or an incorrectly installed, or otherwise defective, hot water geyser.
