Functional Defects definition
Functional Defects. Functional defects in system modules may affect the normal use of the system.
Functional Defects means defects to components of a building which prevent, or significantly impair, the functionality of a component of the building or property. A functional defect could be as minor as a broken cupboard door hinge, or a leaking toilet, or as serious as a leaking roof, damp in the walls, or an incorrectly installed, or otherwise defective, hot water geyser.

Except as stated in clauses 5.3 and 5.4 as well as clause 10, the Functional Defects in the Operational Phase shall not be subject to any legal effects other than the deductions mentioned.
