FTE ratio definition

FTE ratio means, for each FTE and Development Period Year up to the Transfer Date, the lesser of either one hundred percent (100%) or the ratio obtained by dividing the time the FTE dedicated to activities under the Development divided by two thousand (2000) hours.
FTE ratio means the ratio of hours worked by an employee during the pay period divided by eighty (80) except that this ratio may not be less than five-tenths (0.5) or greater than one (1.0). The term “hours worked” includes the actual number of hours worked plus vacation, bank time used, sick leave, bereavement leave, military leave or other compensated hours of leave used but not actually worked. Uncompensated leave shall not be included.

Examples of FTE ratio in a sentence

  • Local unions that currently have liaison positions exceeding the 1:1,200 ratio cited above will maintain their current FTE ratio.

  • Local unions that currently have liaison positions exceeding the 1:1,500 ratio cited above will maintain their current FTE ratio.

  • General and administrative costs are allocated to non-statutory activities based on an FTE ratio that is consistent with NERC’s accounting methodology for allocation of overhead to statutory activities.
