Frontier Area definition

Frontier Area means any area identified, demarcated and so notified by the Government or its authorised agency(ies) for the purpose of exploration and exploitation of Oil and Gas, which is logistically and technically difficult and lacks infrastructural and/or marketing facilities, etc.
Frontier Area means an area where there is no or extremely limited terrestrial broadband service.

  • First Exploration Phase shall be for a period not exceeding four (4) Contract Years and second Exploration Phase shall be for a period not exceeding three (3) Contract Years provided that in case of deepwater and Frontier Area blocks, first Exploration Phase will have additional one (1) Contract Year i.e. a total first Exploration Phase not exceeding five (5) Contract Years.

Frontier Area which means minimally populated areas (e.g., Bull Run water shed) that are neither urban nor rural. No such response time zone amendments shall be made without giving the PROVIDER prior written notice and an opportunity for consultation.
