Freestanding dialysis center definition

Freestanding dialysis center or "dialysis center" means a facility that provides chronic maintenance dialysis to end stage renal disease patients on an outpatient basis, including the provision of dialysis services in the patient's place of residence. A freestanding dialysis center does not include the following:

  • Rape Crisis Center means an office, institution, or center offering assistance to victims of sexual offenses through crisis intervention, medical and legal information, and follow-up counseling.

  • Freestanding sign ’ means any sign or group of signs contained or displayed on one freestanding structure which is not attached to a building or to any structure or object not intended to be used for the primary purpose of advertising;

  • Community mental health center or "CMHC" means a facility offering a comprehensive array of community-based mental health services, including but not limited to, inpatient treatment, outpatient treatment, partial hospitalization, emergency care, consultation and education; and, certain services at the option of the center, including, but not limited to, prescreening, rehabilitation services, pre-care and aftercare, training programs, and research and evaluation.

  • Community Mental Health Program (CMHP) means the organization of all services for individuals with mental or emotional disorders operated by, or contractually affiliated with, a local Mental Health Authority operated in a specific geographic area of the state under an intergovernmental agreement or direct contract with the Authority.

  • California Renewables Portfolio Standard means the California Public Utilities Code Section 399.11, et seq.
