  • The employee clothing allowance program consists of three specific Levels: - Level 1 is employees who require FR/AR clothing as part of their daily, routine work.

  • This allowance shall only be used for FR/AR clothing required by OSHA standards and the Suitable Clothing Policy, not for any other clothing or other items.

  • An employee who is required by OSHA standards or the Suitable Clothing Policy to wear FR/AR protective clothing shall wear that clothing while on duty.

  • If the current FR/AR clothing supplier also sells approved safety footwear, the employee may be given the option of using a portion of the above-mentioned value towards safety footwear, so long as there are no additional administrative burdens placed on the Corporation.

  • Further, the employee will be expected to provide “reasonable” care for the FR/AR clothing and return the FR/AR clothing to CMEC for laundering, repair or replacement (rental clothing only).
