Four -Lane definition

Four -Lane means the construction and completion of all works included in or constituting a Four-Lane Project Highway as specified in Article 2 read with Schedule-B and Schedule-C;

  • All materials, works and construction operations shall confirm to the Four Lane Manual (IRC:SP:84–2019) of Specifications and Standards for Four Laning (IRC:SP: 84–2019), referred as the Two Lane Manual (IRC:SP: 84–2019), and MORTH Specifications for Road and Bridge Works, IRC: SP: 48-1998 and IRC 56- 2011.

  • The signing of the memorandum, in three (3) counterparts (each of which shall constitute an original), by the authorised representatives of the Parties shall be deemed to constitute a valid evidence of giving the relevant Right of Way to Widening/Improvement to 4 (Four) Lane with Paved Shoulder from KM 131+500 to Km 146+250 (Design Chainage 131+152 to 145+712) of Manja – Dillai Section (Package-7) of NH 29 in the state of Assam on EPC mode the Contractor.

  • For the avoidance of doubt, in case the cost as determined by the Contractor and the Authority reveals a difference of more than 10% (ten per cent), the cost as determined by the Authority shall be considered as final and binding Widening/Improvement to 4 (Four) Lane with Paved Shoulder from KM 131+500 to Km 146+250 (Design Chainage 131+152 to 145+712) of Manja – Dillai Section (Package-7) of NH 29 in the state of Assam on EPC mode on the Contractor.

  • Widening/Improvement to 4 (Four) Lane with Paved Shoulder from KM 131+500 to Km 146+250 (Design Chainage 131+152 to 145+712) of Manja – Dillai Section (Package-7) of NH 29 in the state of Assam on EPC mode If appropriate and required by the Employer, the Contractor shall then appoint (or cause to be appointed) a suitable replacement person.
