FOSC definition

FOSC means the Federal official predesignated to coordinate and Direct responses to a Spill Event under the National Contingency Plan, 40 C.F.R. Part 300, or a comparable official of a foreign Governmental Body.
FOSC means the Federal On-Scene Coordinator designated under the National Contingency Plan or that person's authorized representative.
FOSC means fibre optical splice closure.

Examples of FOSC in a sentence

  • A college course offered for dual credit must be: (A) in the core curriculum of the public institution of higher education providing the credit; (B) a career and technical education course; (C) a foreign language course; or (D) a college pathway course that satisfies specific degree plan requirements leading to the completion of a Board approved certificate, AA, AS, AAS degree program, or FOSC.

  • Academic courses offered for Dual Credit must be identified as a college-level academic course in the current edition of the Community College Academic Course Guide Manual (ACGM) and must be simultaneously identified by the College as a course that has been included in the College’s core curriculum, or foreign language course, or state approved FOSC or POSC.

  • The language can be tailored to ensure that the FOSC is provided with the resources needed to meet the desired activities or functions required.

  • The document developed by following Appendix B, information required to initiate a formal consultation following an emergency, should be included with a cover letter to the Services requesting consultation and signed by the FOSC.

  • FOS means the Financial Ombudsman Service;

  • Forest management plan means a written plan prepared and signed by a qualified forester that prescribes measures to optimize production, utilization, regeneration, and harvest of timber. The forest management plan shall include a schedule and timetables for the various silvicultural practices used on forestlands, which shall be a maximum of 20 years in length. A forest management plan shall include all of the following:

  • Nutrient management plan means a plan developed or approved by the Department of Conservation and Recreation that requires proper storage, treatment and management of poultry waste, including dry litter, and limits accumulation of excess nutrients in soils and leaching or discharge of nutrients into state waters.
