Forestlands definition

Forestlands means at any time property in the United States which contains standing timber which is, or upon completion of a growth cycle then in process is expected to become, of a commercial quantity and of merchantable quality excluding from the term "Forestlands," however, any land which at the time is held by, or has been or is after the date hereof transferred to a Subsidiary primarily for development and/or sale, and not primarily for the production of any lumber or other timber products.

Forestlands means any lands which support a forest growth, which under prevailing natural and economic conditions may be expected to support such a growth in the future or which is being used or reserved for any forest purpose. Such term shall not include any lands within an urban area which are primarily used for residential purposes nor shall it include any publicly owned lands.
