Forest exploration definition

Forest exploration means the set of measures and activities related to the extraction of forest products aimed at meeting human needs, namely, tree felling, transportation, sawing of firewood, extraction, drying, including the production of charcoal, as well as timber processing activities and any other such activities that may fall under that category as a result of technical developments, regardless of its purpose.

  • Exploration means all activities directed toward ascertaining the existence, location, quantity, quality or commercial value of deposits of Products.

  • Consolidated Entities means, collectively, (i) the Borrower, (ii) any other Person the accounts of which are consolidated or would be consolidated with those of any Borrower Party in the consolidated financial statements of such Borrower Party in accordance with GAAP, and (iii) all Unconsolidated Joint Ventures of which any Borrower Party or any Person defined in subclause (ii) above is a general partner.

  • Exploration Period means the period mentioned in Article 3 during which Exploration Operations may be carried out by the Contractor as provided in Article 3 hereof.

  • Petroleum Operations means, as the context may require, Exploration Operations, Development Operations or Production Operations or any combination of two or more of such operations, including construction, operation and maintenance of all necessary facilities, plugging and abandonment of ▇▇▇▇▇, safety, environmental protection, transportation, storage, sale or disposition of Petroleum to the Delivery Point, Site Restoration and any or all other incidental operations or activities as may be necessary.

  • Consolidated EBITR means, for any period, an amount equal to, the sum of its Consolidated Net Income plus, to the extent deducted in determining Consolidated Net Income (i) provisions for taxes based on income, (ii) Consolidated Interest Expense, and (iii) Consolidated Rental Expense.
