Force Majure definition

Force Majure means an event beyond the control of the supplier and not involving the supplier‟s fault or negligence and not limited to acts of the purchaser either in its sovereign or contractual capacity, wars or revolutions, fires, floods, epidemics, quarantine restrictions and freight embargoes.
Force Majure means the Company shall be excused from any delay in performance or for non-performance of any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement caused by any Force Majeure event. Force Majeure shall mean strikes, labor disputes, freight embargoes, interruption or failure in the Internet, telephone or other telecommunications service or related equipment, material interruption in the mail service or other means of communication within the United States, if the Company shall have sustained a material or substantial loss by fire, flood, accident, hurricane, earthquake, theft, sabotage, or other calamity or malicious act, whether or not such loss shall have been insured, acts of God, outbreak or material escalation of hostilities or civil disturbances, national emergency or war (whether or not declared), or other calamity or crises including a terrorist act or acts affecting the United States, future laws, rules, regulations or acts of any government (including any orders, rules or regulations issued by any official or agency of such government), or any cause beyond the reasonable control of the Company.
Force Majure means any unforeseeable circumstances beyond the carrier’s control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all due care had been exercised including, but without limitation, meteorological and geological conditions, acts of God, strikes, riots, civil commotions, embargoes, wars, hostilities, disturbances, unsettled international conditions, shortage of fuel or facilities, or labour disputes, either actual, threatened or reported.

  • Landlord's Work shall be substantially completed, excepting Punchlist Items (as hereinafter defined), and possession of the completed Premises shall be delivered to Tenant for the commencement of Tenant's Work within the Construction Period, delays due to Force Majure.

  • Borrower will maintain, keep and preserve all of its properties in reasonably good repair, working order and condition and from time to time make all necessary repairs, renewals, replacements, betterments and improvements thereto, so that the business carried on in connection therewith may be conducted at all times; provided, however, in the event that any Force Majure occurs, Borrower shall have ninety (90) days to comply with th▇▇ ▇▇▇tion 6.9.
