Food Processing Waste definition

Food Processing Waste means any organic waste and/or waste by-product that may be produced from a commercial food processing operation, and that is unsuitable for composting within existing programs.
Food Processing Waste means waste resulting solely from the processing of fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy products, and related food products. It does not include waste from the processing of animal carcasses or parts. It also does not include sanitary waste or processes that involve the addition of a hazardous chemical to the manufacturing process. Food processing waste includes, but is not limited to:
Food Processing Waste means food waste components from manufacturing, as defined in Part 360 of this Title.

More Definitions of Food Processing Waste

Food Processing Waste means organic waste derived from food and food preparation, but excludes abattoir waste or animal carcases;
Food Processing Waste means any food products, whether spoiled or not, which have been generated at food processing plants but shall exclude food waste oils and fatty residues, which in the opinion of the SITE OPERATOR, are not conducive to efficient operation of the Waste Disposal Site composting process.
Food Processing Waste means pre-consumer food waste that is unsuitable for composting;
Food Processing Waste means waste, residues, byproducts or waste treatment residuals from commercial food manufacturing or packaging operations.

  • Food processing plant means a commercial operation that manufactures, packages, labels or stores food for human consumption and does not provide food directly to a consumer. “Food processing plant” does not include any of the following:
