F.O.I.C. definition

F.O.I.C. means Furnished by Others (e.g. general contractor, other subcontractors, equipment suppliers, Owner, systems contractors working directly with the Owner, etc.), Installed by Contractor.

Examples of F.O.I.C. in a sentence

  • Owner-furnished products/items are indicated on the drawings as FOIC items.

  • The FOIC or the Inspector will notify the Contractor of any changes to the Activity Level occurring after the posting time.

  • Contractor will conduct a pre-installation conference at the Project Site before each construction activity that requires coordination with other construction and includes installation of FOIC items.
