Flowback fluid definition

Flowback fluid means the fluid recovered from the treated well before the commencement of oil and gas production from that well following a well stimulation treatment. The flowback fluid may include materials of any phase.
Flowback fluid means liquids, and mixtures thereof, consisting of drilling fluid, silt, sand and other proppants, debris, water, brine, oil, paraffin, produced water, or other materials that are removed from the wellbore during the completion or recompletion of an oil or gas well, other additives that flow from an oil or gas well following well stimulation, or during production of an oil or gas well.
Flowback fluid means hydraulic fracturing fluid and brine recovered from a well after completion of a hydraulic fracturing operation and before the conclusion of test production under R 324.606.
