Floodlands definition
Floodlands means those lands, including the floodplains, floodways, and channels, subject to inundation by the one hundred-year recurrence interval flood or, where such data is not available, the maximum flood of record.

Floodlands included within a subdivision plat shall be included within lots, or reserved for acquisition as provided above, or if approved by the Village Plan Commission, shall be reserved in perpetuity for the recreational use of the future residents of the land to be divided or developed.
