Floating Rate Basis definition

Floating Rate Basis means, in relation to a Floating Rate Debt Instrument, the basis on which interest is calculated in respect of that Floating Rate Debt Instrument, as specified in the relevant Register and which will be, unless otherwise agreed by the relevant Issuer and the person who is to be entered in the relevant Register as the Holder for the purpose of issuing that Floating Rate Debt Instrument, the Bank Bill Rate.
Floating Rate Basis means, with respect to a Floating Rate Note the Bank Bill Rate or other basis as set out in the relevant Series Supplement.
Floating Rate Basis means, in relation to a Floating Rate Note, the basis on which interest is calculated in respect of that MTN, as specified in the relevant Register and which will be, unless otherwise agreed by the Issuer and the person who is to be entered in the relevant Register as the Noteholder for the purpose of issuing that Floating Rate Note the Bank Bill Rate.

Examples of Floating Rate Basis in a sentence

  • Any interest or fee accruing under this Agreement accrues from day to day and is calculated on the basis of the actual number of days elapsed and a year of 360 days (where interest is calculated on a Floating Rate Basis) or on a 30/360 or act/360 basis (where interest is calculated on a Fixed Rate Basis).

  • Process for Buyback of CDs issued on Floating Rate Basis is the Same as applicable for a Discounted CD.

  • Operational Guidelines for CDs issued on Floating Rate Basis are effective from 6th December 2021.b. Certificate of Deposit issued on a Floating Rate Basis shall be issued at par (i.e., Rs. 100).c.

  • The total consideration payable for the Asset Transfer (the “Asset Consideration”) shall be determined and agreed between the Parties.

  • Interest will be payable semiannually on the designated dates and computed on the basis of a 360-day year of twelve 30-day months, in the case of a Fixed Rate, and on the designated dates (each, an "Interest Payment Date" in respect of the MOPPRS/CHEERS Spread Period), and reset on the designated Interest Reset Dates and computed on the basis of the day-count convention described below for the applicable Floating Rate Basis, in the case of a Floating Rate.

  • The Interest Rate in respect of each Interest Period will be the rate determined by the Manager to be the arithmetic mean (rounded up to 2 decimal places if the third decimal place is 5 or greater and rounded down to 2 decimal places if the third decimal place is lower than 5) of the quotations obtained on the Floating Rate Basis at or about 10.10 am (Sydney time) on the first day of the relevant Interest Period plus or minus any margin as agreed in the relevant Terms Sheet.


More Definitions of Floating Rate Basis

Floating Rate Basis means the calculation of interest due on the Loan in accordance with Clause 6.1.2(a) (Calculation of Interest).

Related to Floating Rate Basis

  • Base Rate Basis means a simple interest rate equal to the sum of (i) the Base Rate and (ii) the Applicable Margin applicable to Base Rate Advances for the applicable Loans. The Base Rate Basis shall be adjusted automatically as of the opening of business on the effective date of each change in the Base Rate to account for such change, and shall also be adjusted to reflect changes of the Applicable Margin applicable to Base Rate Advances.

  • Interest Rate Basis means the Base Rate or the Eurodollar Basis, as applicable.

  • Alternate Base Rate means, for any day, a rate per annum equal to the greater of (a) the Prime Rate in effect on such day and (b) the Federal Funds Effective Rate in effect on such day plus 1/2 of 1%. Any change in the Alternate Base Rate due to a change in the Prime Rate or the Federal Funds Effective Rate shall be effective from and including the effective date of such change in the Prime Rate or the Federal Funds Effective Rate, respectively.

  • Corporate Base Rate means a rate per annum equal to the corporate base rate of interest announced by First Chicago from time to time, changing when and as said corporate base rate changes.

  • CB Floating Rate means the Prime Rate; provided that the CB Floating Rate shall never be less than the Adjusted One Month LIBOR Rate on such day (or if such day is not a Business Day, the immediately preceding Business Day). Any change in the CB Floating Rate due to a change in the Prime Rate or the Adjusted One Month LIBOR Rate shall be effective from and including the effective date of such change in the Prime Rate or the Adjusted One Month LIBOR Rate, respectively.

  • LIBOR Daily Floating Rate means, for any day, a fluctuating rate of interest per annum equal to LIBOR as published on the applicable Bloomberg screen page (or such other commercially available source providing such quotations as may be designated by Administrative Agent from time to time), at approximately 11:00 a.m., London time, two (2) London Banking Days prior to such day, for Dollar deposits with a term of one (1) month commencing that day; provided that if the LIBOR Daily Floating Rate shall be less than zero, such rate shall be deemed zero for purposes of the Loan Documents.

  • Alternate Base Rate Loan means a Loan which bears interest at the Alternate Base Rate or the Default Rate.

  • Floating Rate Note means any Class A-2b Note.

  • Floating Rate Margin means 7.50 per cent. per annum.

  • Alternate Base Rate Loans means Loans that bear interest at an interest rate based on the Alternate Base Rate.

  • Floating Rate Period has the meaning set forth in section 2.5(b)(ii) hereof.

  • Alternate Base Rate Advance means an Advance which bears interest at the Alternate Base Rate.

  • CMT Rate means, with respect to any Reset Date (in the following order of priority):

  • Floating Rate means, for any day, a rate per annum equal to (i) the Alternate Base Rate for such day plus (ii) the Applicable Margin, in each case changing when and as the Alternate Base Rate changes.

  • CMS Rate means the applicable swap rate for swap transactions in the Reference Currency with a maturity of the Designated Maturity, expressed as a percentage, which appears on the Relevant Screen Page as at the Specified Time on the relevant Interest Determination Date in question, all as determined by the Calculation Agent.

  • Floating Rate Option has the meaning given to it in the ISDA Definitions;

  • Negative Basis means, with respect to any Member and as of any time of calculation, the amount by which the Member’s “adjusted tax basis,” for U.S. federal income tax purposes, in the Member’s Interest in the Company as of that time (determined without regard to any adjustments made to the “adjusted tax basis” by reason of any Transfer or assignment of the Interest, including by reason of death, and without regard to such Member’s share of the liabilities of the Company under Section 752 of the Code) exceeds the value of its Interest as of such time. As used in this Section 5.9, the term “Negative Basis Member” means any Member whose Interest is repurchased by the Company and who has Negative Basis as of the effective date of the repurchase, but such Member shall cease to be a Negative Basis Member at such time as it shall have received allocations pursuant to clause (i) of paragraph (c) equal to its Negative Basis as of the effective date of such repurchase.

  • Federal Funds Open Rate means the rate set forth on Moneyline Telerate (or any successor service) on page 5 (or any other page as may replace the specified page on that service) for an Interest Determination Date underneath the caption “FEDERAL FUNDS” in the row titled “OPEN”. If the rate is not available for an Interest Determination Date, the rate for that Interest Determination Date shall be the Federal Funds Rate as determined below.

  • U.S. Base Rate means, for any day, the rate of interest per annum equal to the greater of (a) the interest rate per annum publicly announced from time to time by the Administrative Agent as its reference rate in effect on such day at its principal office in Toronto for determining interest rates applicable to commercial loans denominated in U.S. Dollars in Canada (each change in such reference rate being effective from and including the date such change is publicly announced as being effective) and (b) the Federal Funds Effective Rate in effect on such day plus 1/2 of 1%.

  • Alternative Base Rate means the rate that has replaced LIBOR in customary market usage for determining floating interest rates in respect of bonds denominated in Dollars or, if the Independent Financial Adviser or the Issuer (in consultation with the Calculation Agent and acting in good faith and a commercially reasonable manner), as applicable, determines that there is no such rate, such other rate as the Independent Financial Adviser or the Issuer (in consultation with the Calculation Agent and acting in good faith and a commercially reasonable manner), as applicable, determines in its or the Issuer’s sole discretion is most comparable to LIBOR. If the Alternative Base Rate is determined, such Alternative Base Rate shall be the Alternative Base Rate for the remaining Interest Periods.

  • LIBOR Base Rate means, for each Interest Period, the London interbank offered rate for six-month deposits in Dollars for value the first day of such Interest Period (or, in the case of the initial Interest Period, for value the Interest Payment Date occurring on or next preceding the first day of such Interest Period), as reasonably determined by the Bank and expressed as a percentage per annum.

  • Base Rate means a fluctuating interest rate per annum in effect from time to time, which rate per annum shall at all times be equal to the highest of:

  • LIBOR Index Rate means, for any Interest Period, the rate per annum (rounded upwards, if necessary, to the next higher one-sixteenth of one percent) for deposits in U.S. Dollars for delivery on the first day of and for a period equal to such Interest Period in an amount equal or comparable to the principal amount of the Eurodollar Loan scheduled to be made by each Lender as part of such Borrowing, which appears on the Applicable Telerate Page as of 11:00 a.m. (London, England time) on the day two (2) Business Days before the commencement of such Interest Period.

  • Federal Funds Open Rate Note Unless otherwise specified on the face hereof, “Federal Funds Open Rate” means the rate set forth on Moneyline Telerate (or any successor service) on page 5 (or any other page as may replace the specified page on that service) for an Interest Determination Date underneath the caption “FEDERAL FUNDS” in the row titled “OPEN”.
