Floater Time definition

Floater Time means the time worked in excess of 40 hours in a week which is neither considered nor paid as overtime. Floater Time for Members on a Patrol Section shall be considered to equal 104 hours per year.

Examples of Floater Time in a sentence

  • Should the Member later cancel or alter the dates of this Floater Time, it shall be treated as regular Floater Time.

  • Where a Member assigned to the Patrol Section is required to attend court or a prosecutor's interview during Floater Time described in subsection 10.4(b)(iv), that Member shall receive compensation in accordance with subsection 9.7(a)(iii).

  • The Shift Schedule shall be brought to an average of 40 hours work per week by granting those Members working the 12 hour shift Floater Time off.

  • Two hours Floater Time will be added or subtracted from a Member's Floater Time entitlement for each week of such change.

  • Should the Member later cancel or alter the dates of this Floater Time, it shall be treated as regular Floater Time and shall not be subject to this subsection 11.4(b)(iv) or subsection 10.6(a)(vii).

  • Two (2) hours Floater Time will be added or subtracted from a Member's Floater Time entitlement for each week of such change.

  • For the purposes of this subsection 10.6(a)(vii), compensation only applies to the day(s) during which the Floater Time is taken, and does not include the Member's regularly scheduled day(s) off that may occur immediately before or after the Floater Time.

  • Permanent part-time employees working in the Eastern Region are entitled to all terms and conditions of the collective agreement except as stated below: Permanent Part-time employees are entitled to equivalent Floater Time based on the of Hours worked per week X (4 floater x hours) Permanent part-time employees who are required to work ten or more consecutive hours will be allowed for a meal and for each successive four (4) hours overtime an additional for a meal.

  • The Shift Schedule shall be brought to an average of forty (40) hours work per week by granting those Members working the twelve (12) hour shift Floater Time off.

  • Floater Time off will be granted at the discretion of the Chief Constable or his/her designate.
