Floatable Oil: Floatable oil is oil, fat, or grease in a physical state such that it will separate by gravity from wastewater by treatment in an approved pretreatment facility.
Floatable Pollutants - (1) Petroleum oil, non-biodegradable cutting oil, or products of mineral oil origin in amounts that will cause Interference or Pass-through, (2) any wastes containing floatable fats, wax, grease, oils, or any other floatable pollutants, (3) any industrial wastes containing more than 150 mg/l of petroleum based oil or grease in any single sample, and any wastes containing more than an average monthly concentration of 100 mg/l.
