Float employee means the last four (4) employees recorded on the seniority list after June 1, 2002;

  • A Regular Float employee is one who works a predetermined number of hours in a pay period but with no regularly defined work schedule.

  • Any regular or probationary employee who is not a Float employee who volunteers or is required to travel to a facility they are not regularly assigned shall be paid a premium of two dollars ($2.00) per hour upon arrival at the new facility for all hours worked.

  • School employee means (1) a teacher, substitute teacher, school administrator, school superintendent, guidance counselor, psychologist, social worker, nurse, physician, school paraprofessional or coach employed by a local or regional board of education or working in a public elementary, middle or high school; or (2) any other individual who, in the performance of his or her duties, has regular contact with students and who provides services to or on behalf of students enrolled in a public elementary, middle or high school, pursuant to a contract with the local or regional board of education.
