The negotiated Flight Hour Rate is quoted in 2011 dollars and will be subject to escalation for the year 2012 and each year thereafter as determined by the producer price index for aircraft manufacturing, Series ID # PCU336411336411 as published by the United States Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS) at the time of the then-current anniversary of the Effective Date.

Cost per Flight Hour Rate Adjustment In conjunction with the extension in term, the Hourly PBTH rate for aircraft with age greater than 60 months shall be reduced to $130.53 effective January 1, 2010.
Upon receipt of the information referred to above, AVEOS shall then issue a detailed invoice reflecting: (i) the actual amount due resulting from the calculation of the actual total Flight Hours Flown during the previous calendar month multiplied by the Flight Hour Rate multiplied by the actual number of Aircraft; and (ii) the credit of the amount of the invoice paid as per the paragraph above.
Upon the first Shop Visit of an item of Equipment under a Schedule, GECAS shall pay to Supplier (by wire transfer of immediately available funds to the bank account specified in Paragraph G below) a sum equal to the product of the applicable Flight Hour Rate times the number of Flight Hours of the Equipment, from (and including) such item of Equipment’s last Shop Visit before the first day of the Term of such Schedule to (and including) the day preceding the first day of the Term of such Schedule.
Each month, AVEOS shall send VOLARIS, by the first (1st) day of the month, an invoice representing the current months’ Minimum Monthly Flight Hours multiplied by the Flight Hour Rate multiplied by the number of Aircraft for the Pool Access Charges as set out in Appendix B.
If the Guaranteed AFH times the number of aircraft operated during the preceding calendar year is less than the total AFH invoiced during such period, Supplier (In regards to Components Services only) shall credit Customer with an amount equal to the difference between the product of the total actual Flight Hours flown by the Customer’s fleet during such period times the applicable escalated Flight Hour Rate in effect for such period and the total amount invoiced during such period.
If the Guaranteed AFH times the number of aircraft operated during the preceding calendar year exceeds the total Flight Hours invoiced during such period, Supplier shall invoice Customer and Customer shall pay Supplier an amount equal to the difference between the Guaranteed AFH times the number of aircraft operated during the preceding calendar year times the applicable escalated Flight Hour Rate in effect for such period and the total amount invoiced during such period.
