Flex credit definition

Flex credit means the accumulated amount of time worked by an employee which is more than 10 standard days in a settlement period. Flex credit includes carry over but does not include overtime which has been compensated for by overtime rates of pay or TOIL in accordance with subclauses 24.4 or 24.5 of this award.
Flex credit means Employer Contributions that are available to Participants and allow Participants to allocate the Flex Credits among the various Benefit Options offered under the Plan in a manner set forth in the Salary Reduction Election instructions or enrollment material. In no event will any Flex Credit be disbursed to a Participant in the form of additional, taxable Compensation except as otherwise provided in the enrollment material.
Flex credit means an academic credit that is designed to increase real- world relevant learning for students by providing standards-aligned instruction that incorporates at minimum two subject areas into credit to connected student learning experience. Flex credits shall be used to promote student engagement and shall not compromise rigor and applicable academic standards.

Examples of Flex credit in a sentence

  • As a matter of professionalism, all full time faculty members are expected to complete the required 24 hours and submit any Flex credit receipts acquired during the semester to the office of Academic Affairs.

  • All District-approved workshops and faculty development programs given during Flex days shall constitute appropriate Flex credit.

  • Faculty members attending the three-hour afternoon sessions for division meeting and division activities shall receive three (3) hours of Flex credit.

  • Appointment to a TRC will count toward fulfillment of a faculty member’s college service obligation, and may be eligible for Flex credit as appropriate.

  • Faculty members shall receive Flex credit during the academic year for participation in District-approved workshops and for attendance at District-approved conferences.

  • Faculty who are compensated for training may not also claim Flex credit for the same hours.

  • Flex credit is available only to those employees who have continuously participated in Flex Credit since the 2001-2002 school year without interruption.

  • An employee cannot spend long hours at the workplace just to build up a Flex credit, there must be work to be done.

  • The purchase price for one Share shall be $0.92 per Share (the “Share Purchase Price”).
