Flat type definition
Flat type means a TV set whose percentage of the maximum gap value between the center and the peripheral portion on a cathode-ray-tube surface to the diagonal dimensions of a cathode-ray-tube is 0.5% or less (provided that the measurement position of the peripheral portion and the diagonal dimension shall be within the effective area plus 5 mm).
