First Level Supervision definition

First Level Supervision means those employees whose primary function in Joint Operations is the direct oversight of the Operator’s field employees and/or contract labor directly employed On-site in a field operating capacity. First Level Supervision functions may include, but are not limited to: · Responsibility for field employees and contract labor engaged in activities that can include field operations, maintenance, construction, well remedial work, equipment movement and drilling · Responsibility for day-to-day direct oversight of rig operations · Responsibility for day-to-day direct oversight of construction operations · Coordination of job priorities and approval of work procedures · Responsibility for optimal resource utilization (equipment, Materials, personnel) · Responsibility for meeting production and field operating expense targets · Representation of the Parties in local matters involving community, vendors, regulatory agents and landowners, as an incidental part of the supervisor’s operating responsibilities · Responsibility for all emergency responses with field staff · Responsibility for implementing safety and environmental practices · Responsibility for field adherence to company policy · Responsibility for employment decisions and performance appraisals for field personnel · Oversight of sub-groups for field functions such as electrical, safety, environmental, telecommunications, which may have group or team leaders.
